THE CHALLENGES

In 2018 we took over an old Taekwondo studio in the Rio Rancho area of Albuquerque and set out to build our first showroom. Our challenge was to put in flooring and counters to showcase our talents and the many types of flooring that we handle. At the same time, we wanted to give inspiration to customers who visited our store and help them visualize what their floor might look like.

We tore out all the old foam rubber floor tile and scraped everything down to the bare concrete. Then we let our imagination run wild! We laid down wood, travertine, laminate, carpet, stone, even ceramics. We worked in some decorative pieces, and some linoleum.

But, we didn’t want just a hodge-podge of flooring examples. We wanted something that looked nice, that drew the eye into the store, and gave a sense of balance and structure.

Our showroom floor continues to amaze people when they walk in. We won’t show you the finished floor on this website, we want you to come in and see it for yourself. Visit us today.

PROJECT GOALS

  • Transform an old Taekwondo studio into a flooring showroom.
  • Tear out all the old flooring from the previous tenant, and scrape everything down to the bare concrete.
  • Use our creative minds to design a variety of flooring patterns and styles that showcase our talents.
  • Showcase our partners' products (Daltile, Mohawk, et al) and inspire our customers to imagine what their floors might look like.
  • Don't let the floor look like a hodge-podge of ideas thrown together, rather, make it looks balanced, pleasing, let it draw customers into the store.
